Livia was Waniya’s Eid luxury prêt collection. As a design intern, I worked on it from early concept through final collection preparation, sketching the collection and designing four ready-to-wear pieces from scratch.

Sketched and illustrated looks for the Eid collection, turning creative concepts into detailed fashion illustrations

Created technical and presentation sketches aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and seasonal theme
Worked with the design team on fabric selection, garment development, and collection refinement

As part of my internship at Waniya by Mehr Azam, I designed and constructed four original garments entirely from scratch, from the first sketch to the final finished piece. Each design involved developing patterns, cutting the fabric pieces, and stitching them together into a complete garment. The pieces range from a sequined turquoise kurta with tie-dye trousers to a black gown with gold lattice detailing, an ivory ensemble with a scalloped ombré dupatta, and a textured green jacket set. This hands-on work let me bring my own creative concepts to life while building practical skills in construction and finishing.
